The Resonant EMAD series (REMAD) from Evans has a layer of 7.5mil black foil. The incomparable, industry standard EMAD damping system, combined with a solid internal ring, offers controlled overtones. The 4 "offset mic port has a plastic sleeve to focus the mood and improve the attack while protecting the port at the same time. All heads of the REMAD series have an extremely durable plastic sleeve of the second generation.
