The MEINL Wind Gongs are handmade from a special bronze alloy in the traditional way in China. They are also known under the name of Feng Gong or Suns. The shape is almost flat, thus the vibration spreads with a long sustain from extremely far. A sound property are predominantly low tones, but by stronger playing well hissing overtones can be achieved.
