Genelec 8020DPM active monitor
The Genelec 8020D is a professional compact near field monitor. It delivers an analytical sound image without discoloration for fatigue-free listening and objective mixing. With its small dimensions, it is suitable for small studios, post production, broadcast and mobile applications. Protective grids in front of the drivers simplify transport. The housing of the Genelec 8020D is made of aluminum. The loudspeaker is therefore stable and low in resonance. Rounded housing edges and the optimized sound guidance ensure balanced radiation, very good spatial imaging and a wide listening area. The stereo image is precise and stable. Despite the small size, there is a long bass reflex channel. It enables precise and deep bass reproduction. With the matching 7040 subwoofer, the frequency range can be extended to 30 Hz.
The loudspeaker can be adapted to the location and room acoustics using switchable filters. The IsoPod stand decouples the monitor from the surface and enables it to be aligned with the listening position. Threaded holes and suitable accessories facilitate wall or ceiling mounting.
