- Vari-mid 3-band EQ
The Vari-Mid 3-band EQ features a variable mid-frequency control that lets you dial in an incredibly wide range of tones.
- Custom Ibanez headgear
Sturdy yet lightweight Ibanez custom headpieces allow strings to be easily set and loosened with an Allen key from the rear.
- MR5HS bridge
The MR5HS bridge is specially designed for EHB basses and has a wide intonation range. Each bridge piece is independent and securely attached to the body for maximum vibration transmission. The string saddles are adjustable for +/- 1.5mm of string spacing, meeting the individual string spacing needs of every bassist, regardless of playing style. Teflon washers are used on each tuner for a smooth tuning process.
- EQ bypass switch (passive tone control on the treble potentiometer)
The EQ bypass control offers precise tonal adjustments, including a switch to select passive-only operation. When EQ Bypass is enabled, the Treble tone control becomes the global tone control for the passive circuit.
- Luminescent side dots
The luminous side position markers make it easy for players to identify the fretboard position markers when performing on dark stages.
- Schaller S-Locks belt securing pins

- Ergonomic body design
The EHB's headless construction and specially designed body allows the player to maintain a similar playing position whether seated or standing.
- Beveled back of the body
The top half of the back of the body is slanted, allowing the bass to sit a little closer to the player's body for better control and a more ergonomic feel.

Its contoured, ergonomic design and chambered body make for a lightweight, well-balanced, and comfortable instrument that's great for long sets or practice sessions.
