Tenor Trombones

By far the most common design is that of the tenor trombone, today usually in Bb and with a bore of around 12.2 to 13.89 mm. This instrument can be played fully chromatically from the capital E upwards. The tenor trombone is notated without transposition (sounding, in C) and mainly in the bass clef.
