The Meinl Sonic Energy Tiger Gong is made of a special bronze alloy in the traditional way by hand in China.
The sound is strongly reminiscent of a tiger, roaring and growling. The gong has a pronounced, curved shape with a large center. Similar to the Opera Gong, it has a "splashy" sound, but less of a curve. The gong is supplied with a matching mallet.
