The String Mute effectively dampens overtones, resonating open strings and resonances during recording and/or live performances. There are two different sizes: the String Mute 'S' is suitable for 4-string basses, 6-string electric guitars and ukuleles, while the String Mute 'M' is suitable for 5-string basses and classical guitars.
