Alle Lieder sind zweistimmig gesetzt, insgesamt 46. Außerdem wurden 12 der Weihnachtslieder in einem dreistimmigen Satz hinzugefügt. Die Weihnachtsduette und -trios sind so bearbeitet, dass auch mit den anderen Instrumenten der Serie Fröhliche Weihnacht mit ... zusammen gespielt werden kann. Das Notenheft enthält eine Mitspiel-CD. Darauf erklingen Begleitarrangements in unterschiedlichen Stilen wie Barock, Klassik, Romantik und Pop, instrumentiert in abwechslungsreichen Besetzungen vom Streichquartett, der Bläsergruppe bis zum Sinfonieorchester.
