The Yamaha YVS-140 Venova Tenor is a wind instrument made of robust ABS plastic. It is played with a tenor saxophone mouthpiece and its sound is similar to the saxophone. The fingering is similar to that of the recorder. This makes it very suitable for entering the world of single-reed instruments.
Thanks to the use of branched pipe technology developed by Yamaha, the Yamaha YVS-140 Venova Tenor has a particularly light and compact design and can easily be taken anywhere. The range extends over two octaves (C28-C52). The scope of delivery includes a Yamaha tenor saxophone mouthpiece 4C incl. Plastic reed, cleaning cloth and a case with shoulder strap.
