Manufacturer "Drum Workshop"
Drum Workshop (DW, DW Drums) is an American manufacturer of high-quality drums and accessories based in California.
In 1972 Don Lombardi opened a teaching studio in Santa Monica and called it "The Drum Workshop". Two years later, Lombardi, with his student John Good, began making the first hardware, which took some time to develop. After the acquisition of Camco Drum Co. in 1977, DW developed more and more hardware, e.g. Pedals for the bass drum and drum seats. She changed the direction of the company from training drums to manufacturing drum sets. In 1992 the headquarters were moved to Oxnard. DW develops hardware and drum sets that are made from a wide range of woods and metals, depending on customer requirements.[1] The traditional Collector's Series is well known. Other series include "Performance", "Design", "Jazz" or "ECO-X".
