Authentic piano mechanics
The Millennium III Hybrid Mechanism represents the latest milestone in Kawai's long history of piano innovations and is the focus of the Novus NV5.
Based on the proven mechanics of the K series, the Millennium III hybrid mechanics also have extended buttons and ABS carbon parts. However, the traditional felt hammers were replaced by individually weighted ABS hammers, since there are no metal strings in the Novus NV5 that the hammers could hit during play. The Novus NV5 is equipped with high-resolution optical sensors for precise determination of the velocity.
Millennium III Hybrid offers all the advantages of a premium piano keyboard in a digital instrument. This achievement of modern engineering enables even the most demanding pianists to enjoy this incomparable playing feel of an acoustic piano, regardless of the time and size of their home.
