Under the Applause brand name, Chinese-made guitars with a simple laminated top are offered, which are manufactured under license from the Ovation company.

The Ovation Celebrity series comes from Korean production. It is branded Ovation and has a triple laminated top.

The Ovation Standard Elite, Elite, Elite Custom, Standard Balladeer, Legend and Custom Legend have a higher quality preamp than the Celebrity and a solid top. They are made in Korea.

The Ovation Adamas has a CFRP top. Models with wooden ceilings are also made, but this is the exception. They have a higher quality pickup and preamp than the models above. The Adamas range is made in the USA.
