Manufacturer "Sonor"
The Sonor company history began more than 130 years ago. Even today, the basic principle of the founder is to produce instruments of excellent quality - this is the secret of Sonor Drums. With an extensive range of drum and percussion instruments, Sonor covers every price segment, from entry-level series such as Global Beat and Force to professional drums such as the Delite or S-Classix series
What began in 1875 by Johannes Link with the production of military drums and drum skins has developed over the decades into a world-famous company for drum and percussion instruments. The Sonor trademark was registered with the Imperial Patent Office in 1907 and in 1925 Sonor, with almost 150 employees, became the largest company of its kind at the time.
After difficult post-war years and the embargo imposed on the Link founding family by the GDR, the company was rebuilt in 1946 in Aue/Westphalia. Consul Otto Link, son of the company founder, and his son Horst turned the original drum workshop into a modern operation and a world-famous company. Drummers and percussionists appreciate Sonor Drums because of their high manufacturing and sound quality.
