Come Fly Away Originally, the flanger effect was created by running several tape machines at the same time and mixing the slightly shifted signals. Thus was born one of the first guitar effects. The Hammertone™ Flanger creates dramatic shifts but also subtle chains of modulation. With its top-mounted sockets and true bypass footswitch, it fits comfortably into the pedalboard.
