FMIC was founded in 1946 by broadcast electrician and inventor Leo Fender under the name Fender Electric Instrument Manufacturing Company in Fullerton, California. Through the original innovations of Leo Fender, the company has grown into one of the most recognized manufacturers of electric guitars, electric basses, guitar amplifiers and PA systems. A vintage-style, six-point synchronized tremolo and vintage-style tuning machines offer original-era aesthetics, rock-solid performance and tuning stability.
