The KORG volca sample 2 is based on the globally successful volca sample, but brings numerous improvements and new features as a consistent further development. First and foremost, the compact sample player now offers a MINI-USB socket, through which the samples in the device can be easily managed and exchanged via a connected computer. In addition, this connection can also be used for USB-MIDI signals, which is why the volca sample 2 is the first volca that can send MIDI data to the outside world ex works and without modifications. The memory, which has been doubled in comparison to the previous model, offers space for up to 200 samples, with 150 completely new (partly also revised) samples being included ex works. The typical volca sequencer now offers 16 memory locations for your own patterns and a new pattern chain function in addition to the already known functions. On the other hand, the popular features such as the reverb effect, swing function, the analog "isolator" filter and the numerous controllers for real-time manipulation of the individual samples have been taken over from the predecessor.
