Launchkey is our intuitive and fully integrated MIDI controller keyboard for creating tracks in Ableton Live and with your external devices. Launchkey is aimed at musicians of all kinds and all abilities. With Launchkey, regardless of your level of experience, you can create and perform music like never before. With its various functions for creating music, all of which can be used independently, Launchkey overcomes creative barriers and expands the musical vocabulary of even the most talented keyboard players. Eight scale modes open up new musical areas for you by transposing the keys you play to notes on the selected scale. To do this, you simply choose a keynote and your preferred key and start playing. Three chord modes transform the keys and pads into an interactive surface for musical exploration, on which every note played is tonally and harmoniously linked. The arpeggiator lets you quickly explore new melodies and find ideas, while the mutate function transforms your patterns into exciting new shapes. User-defined modes simplify the interaction between the controller and software and offer more performance than ever before. With the user-defined modes, which can be programmed via the browser-based software Novation Components, you can configure the behavior of your Launchkey, including control assignments, MIDI routing, pad color and much more. Launchkey 37 [MK3] is equipped with a regular 5-pin MIDI output, which allows you to easily connect to the universe of new and old MIDI devices. In connection with its considerable possibilities in standalone operation, the Launchkey is now the heart of your live or studio setup with or without a computer.
