This famous double-layered Evans snare head is equipped, like all snare heads of the Genera serie, with the famous damping system.
So the already attacked sound of a double-layered drum head is reinforced with help of the damping ring.
In the border of this drum head there are small so-called Dry-Vents. This Dry-Vents let this snare head sound dryer.
The optimal head is speacially for "Heavy-Drummer".
