Lieder zur Weihnachtszeit als Solo, im Duett oder im Trio spielbarinklusive Mitspiel-CD bearbeitet von Michael Loos und Horst Rapp für verschiedene Blasinstrumente, die miteinander spielen können Alle Jahre wieder möchte dieses Liederbuch den Schüler zum Spielen von Weihnachtsliedern anregen. Im Schwierigkeitsgrad sehr leicht, für den Anfänger, der gerade die ersten Töne spielt, bis mittelschwer, für den fortgeschrittenen Schüler, wurden die bekanntesten deutschen und ausländischen Weihnachtslieder bearbeitet und so geordnet, dass sie im Schwierigkeitsgrad stufenweise voranschreiten. Das Repertoire kann auf diese Weise jährlich erweitert werden. Die Melodie befindet sich immer in der ersten Stimme, so dass diese auch allein vorgetragen werden kann. Alle Lieder sind zweistimmig gesetzt, insgesamt 46. Außerdem wurden 12 der Weihnachtslieder in einem dreistimmigen Satz hinzugefügt. Die Weihnachtsduette und -trios sind so bearbeitet, dass auch mit den anderen Instrumenten der Serie Fröhliche Weihnacht mit ... zusammen gespielt werden kann. Das Notenheft enthält eine Mitspiel-CD. Darauf erklingen Begleitarrangements in unterschiedlichen Stilen wie Barock, Klassik, Romantik und Pop, instrumentiert in abwechslungsreichen Besetzungen vom Streichquartett, der Bläsergruppe bis zum Sinfonieorchester.
