In 2001, Ketron launched the SD1, a keyboard that has permanently secured an important position in the professional class of entertainer keyboards. In the years that followed, Ketron was strongly represented in the middle price segment with the XD models. For the modern entertainer, Ketron released the MIDI players Midjay and Midjay Plus, which they later developed further. It was then replaced by the still current Midjay Pro multimedia player.
An innovation is the real audio concept of the Audya models, whose automatic accompaniment is not implemented as usual as sequencer tracks, but with real audio recordings that studio musicians play for Ketron. The styles of the Ketron Audya can therefore convince with a high level of authenticity.
Since 2015, Ketron has been setting new standards with the Entertainer Keyboard SD7. A step up from this device is the SD9, with 76 lightweight keys and an even greater array of sounds, styles, and features. Ketron now has locations in 40 countries.
