The EVH95 Eddie Van Halen Cry Baby Wah is another addition to the Dunlop EVH effects list. Eddie's favorite Crybaby served as a model, which was modified in the early 90s according to his taste and, among other things, received an additional frequency spectrum. Interestingly, this wah has developed a life of its own due to Mr. Van Halen's preferred use of the mid-range in this area and is characterized by a particularly emphasized mid-range and an amplified bass range. A hardwire bypass and a hand-selected coil top off this interesting package.
Dunlop Manufacturing, better known by the name of the owner Jim Dunlop, is an American company founded in 1964 that manufactures accessories for guitars and basses. The best-known product is certainly the Dunlop CGB 95 wah-wah pedal, which has become world-famous under the name Cry Baby. But that's not all. In addition to wah - wahs and the modules of the Rockman series, the company also produces capo tastos, bottlenecks and picks. In 2001, Dunlop bought the rights to MXR from ART and since then has continuously expanded the range with new products. Since 2006, Dunlop has also offered guitar and bass strings.
