The VXLR + is a 3.5mm TRS jack with an XLR plug that converts 12-48V phantom power to 3-5V sockets and RODE microphones such as VideoMicro and VideoMic GO enables Worn microphones such as the HS2 headset microphone are supplied with power from the XLR input. Røde Microphones manufactures a wide range of microphones for recording, sound reinforcement, film sound and other applications. These include large-capsule (1″) and small-capsule condenser microphones, dynamic microphones, directional microphones, etc.

Initially, Røde focused on large-diaphragm studio microphones.
